Everything can be done hands free without even making any movements, Remarkable.

Then there are gadgets which can assist us on a daily basis like smart-watches,mobile-voice assisted GPS. These gadgets are not only useful in the core technological areas, they can also be utilized in medical as well as accounting departments. From Heart-Rate to blood-sugar monitors and from surveillance systems to tracking devices, widgets are becoming smaller and handier.Various sport enthusiast have been quite excited with the launch of smart-shoes or we can say shoes that assist our activites,for best results.The amount of calories burnt and the clock the distance we have covered while jogging or running.These tech-bits might be look simpler but are quite an impression if we consider the tedious and complicated devices which actually are still in practice,like treadmills or various health monitoring equipments.

Torrents have been an active part of the online community in the recent few years,the success of this particular service can be gauged by the fact that it amounts to 75% of the web data traffic. Torrents can be essentially described as an online file sharing service,which relies on a Peer-to-Peer network connectivity.This particular feature of torrents makes it stand apart from other file sharing services,since the availability of the file is not dependent on the up-loader, once it has been fully uploaded on the network,unlike other file transfer protocols,where the up-loader has the entire responsibility of ensuring the availability of the file.

In a BitTorrent P2P transfer,the file is divided into number of pieces which act as individual packets of data.All these pieces are typically downloaded non-sequentially and are rearranged into the correct order by the BitTorrent Client, which monitors which pieces it needs, and which pieces it has and can upload to other peers. Pieces are of the same size throughout a single download. Due to the nature of this approach, the download of any file can be halted at any time and be resumed at a later date, without the loss of previously downloaded information, which in turn makes BitTorrent particularly useful in the transfer of larger files.

A downloaded is initiated by a torrent file or a magnet link. A torrent file has a .torrent extension(also known as a torrent descriptor file) which once downloaded,should be opened with a BitTorrent client.It essentially contains the trackers of the file that is to be downloaded and the meta description of that file.While using a magnet link fetches the content of the file directly.

After a download begins in a BitTorrent client,pieces of file are downloaded on the basis of availaibilty and not necessary in the order in which they appear on the original file. The advantage of this particular feature is that as soon as a downloader gets the first piece it becomes a uploader of that piece and hence gets a position in the swarm of that file.

BitTorrent is the major sharing network online and is even used by major social networks for large data transfers.It is also official distributor of major Hollywood movies.

Torrent terminology explained :

• Health

  Health is shown in a bar or in % usually next to the torrent’s name and size, on the site where the .torrent file is hosted. It shows if all pieces of the torrent are available to download (i.e. 50% means that only half of the torrent is available). Health does not indicate whether the torrent is free of viruses.

• Peer

  A peer is one instance of a BitTorrent client running on a computer on the Internet to which other clients connect and transfer data. Depending on context, “peer” can refer either to any client in the swarm or more specifically to a downloader, a client that has only parts of the file.
  

• Piece

  This refers to the torrented files being divided up into equal specific sized pieces (e.g. 64kB, 128kB, 512KB, 1MB, 2MB or 4MB). The pieces are distributed in a random fashion among peers in order to optimize trading efficiency.
  

• Seed

  A seed refers to a machine possessing 100% of the data. This includes any peer possessing 100% of the data or a web seed. A downloader that obtains 100% of the data becomes a seed.
  Seeding refers to leaving a peer’s connection available for downloaders to download from. Normally, a peer should seed more data than download. However, whether to seed or not, or how much to seed, depends on the availability of downloaders and the choice of the peer at the seeding end.
  

• Share ratio

  A user’s share ratio for any individual torrent is a number determined by dividing the amount of data that user has uploaded by the amount of data they have downloaded. Final share ratios over 1.0 carry a positive connotation in the BitTorrent community, because they indicate that the user has sent more data to other users than they received. Likewise, share ratios under 1 have negative connotation.

On the first look you might misjudge Macan as Cayenne,but a closer detailed looks reveals that it is the baby Cayenne.Porsche has always promoted Cayenne as a big SUV,and it has no small car in the crossover segment,ergo Macan was brought into picture.

There’ll be three Macans at launch, all which come with a seven-speed PDK ‘box as standard. All are four-wheel drive, a rear-biased system that varies torque across the back axle, and if that doesn’t work, can shunt up to 100 per cent of grunt to the front wheels.An added feature in every Macan is the sport button,which shoots up the engine rev and also an off-road button,needed during the uneven terrain(You might need to switch it on all the time for Indian roads,LOL jk)

Macan can be considered as a very strategic step from the Porsche managers,considering its size,price and placement in its entire range of beasts,It sits at the bottom of the range,attracting entry level Porsche enthusiast,and of course the ones who are willing to spend quite a lot of bucks on an entry level crossover,than on a mid-level sedan.So,how well this move goes down the throat of Porsche enthusiasts and the experts and critics,only time will tell.

Apple Inc. known for its sleek looks and distinctive monolithic design,has rolled out yet another milestone in its iPad range i.e. the iPad Air.Hailed as the slimmest and lightest Apple,the built is unbelievably solid due the aluminum body.Resembling its younger sibling( iPad Mini),Air is just 1.9in larger than Mini.Air is quite thin at just 7.5mm however; the Sony Xperia Tablet Z remains the thinnest at a ridiculous 6.9mm.

Air comes with a 5MP main camera,decent yet unsatisfying.Capable of 1080p recording serves decent purpose of recording regular vidoes.The front camera is 1.2MP,does a decent job for video calls and Skype.But definitely not for clicking selfies.....LOL.

Air has the A7 chip,64-bit core and M7 motion coprocessor, which is IMPRESSIVE.Gaming,computing or processing ,anything is easy on this tablet machine.

Battery and Power

Air houses a power house of 32.4Wh Li-Ion battery,capable of 10hrs of rigorous usage of WiFi,Gaming and voice calls.The tablet also has some amazing standby time so when not in use, you can literally go days without having to charge it. This is something Android tablets simply cannot offer,definitely a win for Apple.

Air also has an option of an attractive cover case,which not only protects the device but can be used to mount the device at an angle suitable for viewing videos or hands free operation.

Considering the looks of iPad Air and its distinctive style,it might prove to be a sucess,but at the same it has competition from its younger and smaller sibling,iPad Mini which though might be smaller but it is much cheaper than Air.So just extra 1.9in and slimmer depth might not be sufficient enough to explain the extra bucks a consumer needs to pay for iPad Air.So the final word is,this tablet might be a collector souvenir or a choice for an hardcore apple enthusiast,but for a a moderate fan of Apple ,buying Mini would be practical as well as economical.

SONY PS4 : Report

It has been a while since PS4 has been out in the market,breaking sales records and getting crazy attention from the gamers as well as non-gamer community.Dominating the market with record high sales,it has been the major setback for the XBOX One's success and I bet Microsoft still, is having nightmares.Just Kidding.

All major reviews have been head over hells in favor of PS4 and are smitten by this SONY's little kid,which will turn out to be the major player for the company.Already being a strong contender for the Gadget Of The Year,over most of the online websites and forums,PS4 marks the success and advancement of the gaming industry.

Starting from the warehouse of this machine,solid built and a rich glossy finish mark the boundaries of its territory.Bisected in the middle by a denture,it separates the two halves of the external unit,just as a design.Talking about the tech-specs and features,the major positive point to the external unit is that it houses the power box inside itself,ironic to that of XBOX One,which it is external and requires cords and of course space.



The DualShock 4 might look an awful lot like a DualShock 3, but it's far from the same old controller from the past seven years. It's built on a series of tweaks, rather than an overhaul, of the last Sony controller. Even though the new DualShock is even PS3 compatible, a lot has changed from one generation to the next, and mostly for better.

Inside, the PS4 is all business. It has a custom single-chip processor that combines an eight core x86-64 AMD "Jaguar" CPU with a 1.84 teraflop GPU based on AMD's Radeon tech. That's backed by 8GB of GDDR5 RAM, and a 500GB mechanical hard drive.
Sony claims that the PS4's overall performance is ten times that of the PS3. You can also remove that 500GB drive and replace it with a larger drive, or an SSD for better performance. Sony says these do it yourself upgrades will not void the system's warranty.



Those two USB ports are the PS4's only front facing connections. In the rear you'll find HDMI, Ethernet, a digital optical audio out and a proprietary auxiliary connection for the PlayStation Camera.
For wireless connections, the PS4 uses 802.11 b/g/n for WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1 for its wireless DualShock 4 controllers.
