SONY PS4 : Report

It has been a while since PS4 has been out in the market, breaking sales records and getting crazy attention from the gamers as well as non-gamer community.Dominating the market with record high sales,it has been the major setback for the XBOX One's success and I bet Microsoft still, is having nightmares.Just Kidding.

All major reviews have been head over hells in favor of PS4 and are smitten by this SONY's little kid, which will turn out to be the major player for the company.Already being a strong contender for the Gadget Of The Year, over most of the online websites and forums,PS4 marks the success and advancement of the gaming industry.

Starting from the warehouse of this machine, solid built and a rich glossy finish mark the boundaries of its territory.Bisected in the middle by a denture,it separates the two halves of the external unit, just as a design.Talking about the tech-specs and features, the major positive point to the external unit is that it houses the power box inside itself, ironic to that of XBOX One,which it is external and requires cords and of course space.

The DualShock 4 might look an awful lot like a DualShock 3, but it's far from the same old controller from the past seven years. It's built on a series of tweaks, rather than an overhaul, of the last Sony controller. Even though the new DualShock is even PS3 compatible, a lot has changed from one generation to the next, and mostly for better.

Inside, the PS4 is all business. It has a custom single-chip processor that combines an eight core x86-64 AMD "Jaguar" CPU with a 1.84 teraflop GPU based on AMD's Radeon tech. That's backed by 8GB of GDDR5 RAM, and a 500GB mechanical hard drive.
Sony claims that the PS4's overall performance is ten times that of the PS3. You can also remove that 500GB drive and replace it with a larger drive, or an SSD for better performance. Sony says these do it yourself upgrades will not void the system's warranty.

Those two USB ports are the PS4's only front facing connections. In the rear you'll find HDMI, Ethernet, a digital optical audio out and a proprietary auxiliary connection for the PlayStation Camera.
For wireless connections, the PS4 uses 802.11 b/g/n for WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1 for its wireless DualShock 4 controllers.

GTA 5 : "EXPLORE"

The latest game in Rockstar Games' "Grand Theft Auto" series was released Tuesday.
It's been more than five years since the last game, "Grand Theft Auto IV," came out in April 2008 to critical acclaim.Expectations have been incredibly high for "GTA V."
Besides Rockstar's reputation, the game also had significant investment behind it: a recent report noted that the game cost $266 million to make, an amount larger than the budgets of most big-budget films.

Critics have been universally positive about the game with the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game receiving a 97 and 98 out of 100 rating on review aggregation site Metacritic respectively.
  • The story starts out strong but breaks down near the end due to a lack of character development for two of the three protagonists.

  • The ability to switch between protagonists has made the game far more immersive. As Edge's review of the game puts it:
Rockstar uses it to gracefully nudge you towards this vast world's many activities, too - Michael, for instance, might be parked up outside a tennis court, or stuck in traffic near his shrink's office. You'll find yourself naturally switching every few missions, and playing the game in character, choosing vehicles, activities and radio stations based on who's under your control. You soon realise that, rather than the gangster flicks of GTAs past, you're now playing an episodic TV show.
  • The new heist-style missions are fantastic.
In one minute of a heist, I swapped between Franklin commandeering a tractor, Michael dispatching snipers and Trevor unloading a rocket launcher into a pickup truck. Swapping so drastically improves the pace of Grand Theft Auto 5 that I can't imagine the series moving forward without it.

  • Half of the fun is ignoring the story and exploring the city of Los Santos, an alternate-reality take on Los Angeles.
The mini-games and activities available throughout the game world are not only fun, they reinforce the feeling that you're in a real city - whether you're going for a bike ride along the game's equivalent of Venice Beach or doing yoga with the wealthy residents of 'Vinewood.'
  •  While the "Grand Theft Auto" games are known for their occasional bugs and graphical issues, "GTA V" performs admirably on the older hardware in the Xbox 360 and PS3.
It pushes the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 further than it has any right to, and it looks incredible. The biggest jump in quality since Grand Theft Auto IV is the character animation, but the world is also much more expansive, detailed, and populous. The price we pay for that is occasional framerate dips and texture pop-in.

  • If you have the option, get the PS3 version of the game.
As Kotaku's Kirk Hamilton reports, Xbox 360 users who have installed the game improperly have had  performance issues.
  •  Bottom line: If you're a fan of of the series or the action genre in general, you should buy "GTA V." The game's simplified checkpoint system makes it far more accessible for casual players while the improvements to driving and combat will satisfy hardcore action gamers.
  • Parents: There is graphic violence and sex in "Grand Theft Auto V." If you wouldn't want your child to watch a show like "Game of Thrones," you wouldn't want your child play "GTA V."

BattleField: Xbox One Vs PlayStation 4

The 8th generation gaming devices are out of the closet, its time to pit them against each other and see which survives.
Xbox one,the successor of 360 and the PlayStation 4 successor of PS3 have been up for some action in the recent days.Even though the official launch is expected from about 5months from now, still the gamers are overenthusiastic about their favorite gaming machine.

On The Inside:
Both the machines run on an AMD Graphics with a eight core processor,a 1.6GHz frequency and a Blu-Ray drive is common to both.
But at the same time the RAM differs significantly,PS4 has a 8GB GDDR5 RAM while Xbox one has a 8GB DDR3 RAM.

Controllers:
The PS4 comes with a Dualshock 4 controller, which is a slightly bigger than the Xbox controller.Sony stuck with the dual analog sticks down in front, but at least have a central divot recess for easier gripping.
Additionally Dualshock comes with a built in speaker, mounted in the center of the controller.

Microsoft also didn't mess with success, only slightly modifying its controller in the jump to the Xbox One. It's 40 design innovations are subtle, including the tweaked D-Pad on the bottom-left of the game pad.

Motion Sensing:
Xbox Kinect vs PS4 EYE,Both are the motion sensing devices of respective machines,
Kinect senses upto six people in a room in a 3D space, and tracks much subtle and minute movements, even in the darker rooms and is accompanied by a 1080p video camera. At the same time,EYE comes with two 1080p cameras, and works with Dualshock to identify players in a 3D space. To be frank,as of now Xbox has got an edge over this domain.

Even though the Tech-Pundits have been fearing the death of consoles since the introductions of capacitive touch and the era of tablet wars, there is no looking back with these machines. No matter what they say the war is on,and the battle field is ready. The professional gamers as well as the fun loving players await the launch of these two gaming ZODs.
But the sucess can't be predicted before we actually see them in the markets,so  lets wait and watch who wins.
